Standard ESL

Our Standard ESL program has 6 levels from Beginning to High Advanced.

Improve your English listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar skills. Students learn how to communicate in English accurately while engaging in level-appropriate activities designed to help them increase their English language comprehension and fluency. This program contains 20 hours of instruction per week.

TOEFL Preparation

Prepare for the TOEFL Exam and improve your score.

The TOEFL preparation program provides students with key skills and strategies which help them maximize their test-taking potential.  This program uses up-to-date material and original practice tests in order to improve test scores and allows students to fulfill the requirements for admission to the college or university of their choice.  Placement in level 4 (High Intermediate) or higher is required for this course, which offers a total of 20 hours of instruction per week.

American Culture & Conversation

The afternoon American Culture and Conversation program emphasizes communication fluency.

The classes that make up this program – Pronunciation, Slang/Idioms and American Culture – help students improve their speaking and listening skills while providing insight into the customs and culture of the United States.  This program is available to students who test into/reach level 3 (Low Intermediate) or higher.  It offers a total of 20 hours per week of instruction.

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)

Learning how to teach is one thing, but actually teaching is a whole other thing.

Everything in this course is designed to prepare you for the day when you will be teaching your very own ESL/EFL class. The first phase of this course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach English as a Foreign Language. The second phase of this course is designed to allow you to apply your knowledge and skills to a real-life ESL/EFL classroom with real-life ESL/EFL students.

TOEIC Preparation

TOEIC Preparation for the TOEIC Exam.

The aim of this course is to develop both English languages and test-taking skills needed for International Communication (TOEIC), including critical reading/analysis, advanced listening comprehension, critical thinking, and vocabulary in a business context. This program contains 20 hours of instruction per week.
